Deadly strike on Kyiv kills two, injuries climb again

Russian forces have been heavily attacking Kyiv with drones and missiles since overnight. As a result of the strike, two people have been killed and the number of injured continues to rise, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
"According to updated information, two people were killed in the attack. Another 13 were injured, including one child," the official said.
They also noted that the air threat remains. Enemy aerial targets are being detected on the outskirts of the city.
"We urge residents and visitors of the capital to stay in shelters," the administration added.
What is known about the overnight Russian strike
As a reminder, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and the Kyiv region at around 11:00 p.m. Shortly before midnight, explosions were heard in the capital. Later, ballistic missiles were added to the drone attacks.
Seven people were injured, including a child. Emergency services rescued four people, including a child and a person with limited mobility.
In addition, a high-rise building and a private house were damaged in Brovary due to a Russian strike. Three people are known to have been injured, one of whom was taken to the hospital.
Russian forces also struck Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs — the first explosions were heard in Kharkiv at around 8:30 p.m. The region’s energy infrastructure came under attack, causing sharp voltage fluctuations for residential consumers.
RBC-Ukraine also reported earlier that on the evening of November 28, a large-scale air raid alert was issued across Ukraine due to the takeoff of MiG-31K aircraft equipped with Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
