Ukraine receives new Patriot missiles and Crotale air defense systems - Zelenskyy

Ukraine has received additional Patriot missiles, Crotale systems, and AIM missiles. In addition, partners will provide targeted support packages for Ukrainian regions, the energy sector, and drone production, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis in Kyiv.
According to the president, important agreements on protecting Ukrainian airspace were reached during the Coalition of the Willing summit in Kyiv.
"We received — I will not say from which country — confirmation of the transfer of several Crotale air defense systems and missiles for them. And we also received AIM missiles. These are very important missiles for us; we use them to shoot down enemy missiles," Zelenskyy said.
The president also confirmed the arrival of an additional batch of ammunition for the US-made Patriot air defense systems.
"Well, to be honest, I also won't say from which country, but a few more Patriot missiles have arrived. I can't say how many, but a few. We need more," the president said.
Support for regions and energy packages
In addition to strengthening air defenses, following the summit, partners announced new support packages for specific regions and sectors of the economy.
"We received support from Belgium, from Denmark — they are focused on the Mykolaiv area. Estonia supports Zhytomyr," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, members of the Coalition of the Willing also supported several veterans' projects, while Belgium and Germany separately announced energy support packages for the country.
The president added that Sweden is providing a substantial funding package for the production of Ukrainian drones.
