Deadly Russian night attack kills 2, injures 16 as drones and missiles pound Kyiv

The number of injured in Kyiv increased after a massive Russian missile and drone strike on the capital overnight on July 10. Sixteen victims have been reported so far, informs Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"Currently, there are 16 injured in the capital due to Russia's massive attack. Ten of them were hospitalized by medical workers, while the others received aid on-site or as outpatients," the Mayor's statement said.
Medical teams continue to provide assistance, and rescuers are working at the impact sites.

Overnight, Russian terrorists launched a massive attack on Ukraine using a large number of attack drones. The capital was one of the main targets.
First, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones. Later, ballistic and cruise missiles struck the city. Two people have been killed so far.
Damage from the enemy attack was recorded in six districts of the city.
The heaviest destruction occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Shrapnel hit residential and non-residential buildings. Fires broke out, including on the roof of a high-rise building and near a gas station.
Roofs, upper floors, facades, and interiors of several buildings were damaged. Numerous hits on non-residential facilities were also recorded.
In the Darnytskyi district, drone debris caused fires in garages and on the grounds of a gas station. The yard of a residential building was also damaged.
Meanwhile, in the Solomianskyi district, debris ignited the roof of a non-residential building. Another drone debris fall was recorded at a different address. In the Holosiivskyi district, drone fragments hit a truck, causing it to catch fire. In the Podilskyi district, debris fell on non-residential property.
