'Deadly dangerous for Poland': Tusk on Nawrocki’s position regarding Ukraine

Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki is ready to make a political compromise that would include withdrawing support for Ukraine's NATO membership. This could affect Warsaw's foreign policy stance, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Twitter (X).
Tusk reminded that the first and most important demand of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, to Ukraine and the West is to forbid Ukraine from joining NATO.
"Nawrocki has just eagerly signed up for this demand. Next will be the capitulation and division of Ukraine. He will sign up for that too. It’s deadly dangerous for Poland,” the prime minister added.
Nawrocki rejects support for Ukraine’s NATO membership
Earlier today, Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki, who advanced to the second round of elections, stated that he is ready to promise withdrawing support for Ukraine’s NATO membership in exchange for political backing from the leader of the Confederation, Sławomir Mentzen.
More details about the controversial statement by the Polish candidate can be found in the RBC-Ukraine material.

Also, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, opposes Ukraine’s NATO membership. Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, stated that Putin may include this as one of the demands in a memorandum.
