Russia carries out a covert mobilization, as evidenced by the growing number of its troops on the front and a sharp increase in casualties, drone forces chief Robert "Madyar" Brovdi says.

According to him, during the first five days of October, the Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) units recorded 2,699 confirmed irrecoverable and medical casualties among Russian personnel.

By comparison, the figure for the same period in September was 1,931 troops. This means recorded casualties increased by 39.7% in one month.

The difference is even more pronounced compared with August. During the first five days of August, SBS recorded 1,529 Russian personnel casualties. As a result, the figure at the beginning of October was 76.5% higher.

Drone chief Brovdi attributed this trend to the growing number of Russian forces on the front line and called it a sign of Russia's covert mobilization.

Dobropillia-Pokrovsk front shows biggest increase

The largest increase in enemy casualties was recorded in the area of responsibility of the Azov troop grouping in the Dobropillia-Pokrovsk front.

This refers to the area of responsibility of the 1st Corps of Ukraine's National Guard, Azov. During the first five days of October, Unmanned Systems Forces units recorded 1,268 irrecoverable and medical casualties among Russian troops there.

By comparison, there were 884 such casualties during the same period in September. This is a 43% increase.

Compared with the beginning of August, when 664 casualties were recorded, the figure increased by 91%.

SBS commander stressed that the figures cited cover only the work of Unmanned Systems Forces units. These statistics do not include the results of other units of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

According to Brovdi, these are not assumptions or estimates, but data based on recording and analyzing verified casualties.

"No fantasies, rumors or guesses—only records, mathematics, and analysis of verified casualties," he stressed.

As previously reported, Russia plans to send about 120,000 conscripts into the military this fall. Colonel General Yevgeny Burdinsky, head of the Russian General Staff's mobilization department, said the first conscripts would be sent to their posts starting October 10.

In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia has effectively already begun an additional mobilization. The Kremlin is increasing the number of people it recruits into the military through various methods.
