Zelenskyy: Russia has effectively already begun additional mobilization

The head of state spoke about the results of the Defense Intelligence report on the measures that the aggressor state is planning to take next.

"Russians have effectively already begun an additional mobilization — they are increasing the number of people they recruit through various methods. They also plan to increase the recruitment of foreigners," the president said.

Zelenskyy stressed the importance of governments of the countries from which Russia recruits soldiers taking action to counter this. He added that Ukraine would inform each of them about it.

"We also have new data on the recruitment of military personnel from North Korea to Russia: there are now more than 8,000 North Korean military personnel on Russian territory. An additional deployment of another 10,000 is being prepared — they are being selected for training and subsequent transfer to Russia," the head of state said.

Russians have begun receiving mobilization orders at military enlistment offices. In this way, the aggressor state may be able to quickly call up hundreds of thousands of men to assembly points.

In addition, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert "Madyar" Brovdi said that Russia plans to mobilize 300,000 people by the end of the year. The mobilized troops will be sent to war without proper training.
