American media have reported that the United States may allocate $30 billion to Iran for its civilian nuclear program. However, former President Donald Trump strongly denied the claim, according to Trump's post on Truth Social.

NBC News, citing sources, stated that the Trump administration has recently been exploring potential economic incentives for Iran in exchange for halting uranium enrichment.

According to the report, such "incentives" could include the release of billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets.

"The tentative proposal would also allow Iran to receive assistance from regional countries to enable Tehran to build a civilian nuclear program, granting Tehran access to as much as $30 billion," NBC News said.

Trump's sharp response

Donald Trump denied the media report on Truth Social and called those spreading the information sleazebags.

"Never heard of this ridiculous idea. It’s just another hoax put out by the fake news in order to demean. These people are sick!" Trump said.

Destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities

On June 22, the United States launched strikes on three key nuclear sites in Iran. President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth insisted that the attacks had completely destroyed Tehran’s nuclear program.

However, according to CNN, a preliminary assessment by US intelligence contradicts that claim — key elements of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure were not fully eliminated.

Trump criticized the media for these reports, accusing CNN and The New York Times of spreading misinformation.
