In the coming days, China's Special Envoy for Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui, will visit Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia to discuss the issue of the full-scale war in Ukraine, according to the spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mao Ning.

According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Hui's tour will begin on July 28.

As part of the fourth round of shuttle diplomacy concerning the full-scale war in Ukraine, China's Special Envoy will discuss the current situation and ways to de-escalate the conflict with members of the Global South to renew peace talks.

Envoy's tour

Hui's first tour took place in the spring of 2023. During that tour, he visited several countries, including Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, and Russia, to discuss a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine.

During his visit to Kyiv, the special envoy held meetings with high-ranking officials, including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

It is also worth noting that Kuleba recently visited China.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as a result of the negotiations, Kyiv received a clear signal from Beijing regarding support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
