Talks between Ukraine and Russia are scheduled for May 15 and are expected to take place in Istanbul. It remains unclear at what level the two sides will be represented.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is ready to travel to Istanbul to meet directly with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. However, more than 24 hours have passed, and the Kremlin has yet to respond to his offer.

US President Donald Trump may also take part in the negotiations. According to CNN sources, he is prepared to fly to Istanbul if Putin agrees to a dialogue with Zelenskyy.
