On the night of Thursday, May 14, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv. As of now, dozens of casualties have been reported, including children, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing. As of now, 28 people have been rescued. Six K-9 units have been deployed to assist in the search.

As of now, 44 people have been injured. 31 people are hospitalized, including one child. 23 victims are receiving outpatient medical care.

At 1:03 p.m., Klitschko reported that rescuers had recovered the body of a 12-year-old girl from under the rubble of a building.

At 2:59 p.m., the death toll rose to 7. There are currently 17 people missing.

As a result of a massive Russian strike in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, the structure of a high-rise building collapsed. The Russian attack destroyed an entire building entrance and 18 apartments.

In addition, the Russian strike caused a fire at a gas station; the blast wave shattered windows in neighboring buildings, and nearby shops were also damaged.

A shopping center located next to the 9-story building was also partially destroyed.

On the night of May 14, Russia launched a new combined strike against Ukraine using kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and aeroballistic missiles. The main target was Kyiv.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces launched 56 missiles and 675 drones at Ukraine overnight. There is damage in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as in a number of other regions of Ukraine.
