Main strike on Kyiv: What Russia fired overnight and how many targets Ukraine shot down

Russia, on the night of May 14, immediately after a massive daytime attack, launched a new combined strike on Ukraine with hundreds of drones and missiles of various types. The main direction of attack was Kyiv, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
As noted, the attack began as early as 6 p.m. Kyiv time on May 13.
In total, radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and tracked 731 airborne attack weapons — 56 missiles and 675 UAVs:

3 Kh-47 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles (launch area — Lipetsk region of Russia);

18 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas — Bryansk, Kursk);

35 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch area — Vologda region of Russia);

675 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas strike UAVs, Banderol loitering munitions (2 units), Parodiya imitation drones (from directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, Hvardiiske, Chauda, temporarily occupied Crimea).
According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m. May 14, air defense shot down or suppressed 693 targets — 41 missiles and 652 UAVs of various types:

29 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

12 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles;

652 enemy UAVs of various types.
Recorded:

Hits by 15 missiles and 23 strike UAVs at 24 locations;

Fall of downed UAV debris at 18 locations.
As of this morning, the attack continues. Several new groups of strike UAVs entered Ukrainian airspace.
The Kyiv region was under massive enemy attack all night. Residential buildings, enterprises, and vehicles came under attack, and seven injured people are known.
