Bus overturns near Dnipro: One dead, many injured in tragic crash (photos)

In the morning of July 7, a fatal accident involving a passenger bus occurred on the highway near Dnipro. As a result, one person died and 17 more were injured, the press service of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region reports.
The road traffic accident took place around 5:00 a.m. local time in the Petrykivka district of Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to law enforcement officers, the driver of the Van Hool bus lost control, causing the bus to leave the roadway and overturn.
According to preliminary data, one passenger died as a result of the accident. Another 17 people sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. All the victims were hospitalized to receive the necessary medical assistance.
Investigators, forensic experts, medics, and rescuers are working at the scene. The police have already opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of traffic rules, which led to the death of a person and injuries to others.
At the moment, all the circumstances of the accident are being established and investigative actions are ongoing.

Before that, an accident occurred in the Poltava region. As a result of the accident, a police officer and a serviceman from the Territorial Recruitment Center died while performing their official duties.

Last month in France, a large-scale crash involving a Ukrainian bus occurred. At least four people were killed then, and among the injured were children.
On June 24 in Poland, a serious accident involving Ukrainians took place on the S17 highway near Warsaw. There were casualties.
On June 30 in Romania, a bus carrying 60 Ukrainian citizens collided with a minibus. As a result of the accident, five people were injured. Another woman died.
Furthermore, on July 6, in Hungary, a bus carrying Ukrainian children overturned.
