On the morning of July 6, a bus carrying Ukrainian children was involved in an accident in Hungary, according to the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary.

The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on highway 442 between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tiszaföldvár.

According to preliminary information, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned for unknown reasons.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there were 77 people on the bus at the time of the accident. Nineteen passengers were injured, four of whom sustained serious injuries.

They are coordinating assistance and support for the affected citizens.

Other passengers were temporarily housed at the cultural center in Kunszentmárton, where they were provided with food and appropriate conditions while awaiting further arrangements.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
