Deadly accident in France: Ukrainian kids hurt in bus crash

A major traffic accident involving a Ukrainian bus occurred in France. At least four people were killed, and children are among the injured, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Le Monde.
Today, June 13, the accident took place near the French city of Le Mans on the Rennes–Le Mans highway.
"A traffic accident occurred involving a passenger bus with Ukrainian registration. Representatives of the Embassy and the Ambassador of Ukraine personally went to the scene of the accident," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the bus was reportedly transporting Ukrainian citizens, including a group of children.
Preliminary reports indicate that four people were killed in the accident, while at least 30 others were injured, 11 of whom are in serious condition.
"The injured have been hospitalized. Traffic on the A81 motorway has been suspended. Emergency services are working at the scene," the ministry added.
Meanwhile, French media report that around 87 firefighters and 49 fire trucks have arrived at the scene.
At this time, no additional information is available regarding the circumstances of the accident, the number of vehicles involved, or the identities of those injured.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has instructed the Consular Service Department of the Ministry and the Embassy of Ukraine in France to keep the situation under special control and to provide all necessary assistance to affected Ukrainian citizens.
Road accidents in Ukraine
Last month in Kharkiv, a passenger car collided with a KamAZ truck, resulting in the deaths of three people.
Another accident occurred in the Poltava region, where a police officer and a military serviceman from the Territorial Recruitment Center were killed.
Reports say the men died in the line of duty.
Additionally, in early January, a road accident occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. Two people were killed in a collision between a minivan and a bus.
