At the site of the recent crash of a Russian UAV on Romanian territory, one can see charred trees and the wreckage of the drone itself, according to Digi24.

While in Ceatalchioi, a journalist showcased the aftermath of a powerful strike and explosion from a Russian UAV. The trees at the incident site were scorched and left without leaves.

Background

On the night of September 4, Russian occupiers once again launched kamikaze drones, known as Shahed, targeting Ukraine's port infrastructure in the Odesa region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that these UAVs also had struck Romanian territory; however, Romanian foreign affairs and defense ministries initially denied this information.

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis initially refuted the information but later acknowledged it, stating that fragments "could be from a drone" after a survey of the area.
