A building located next to the European Union delegation in Ukraine was damaged as a result of the Russian forces' attack on Kyiv on the night of June 10, according to EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova.

"Hundreds of Shahed drones & missiles. Another sleepless night. Fires across Kyiv. A building next to EU delegation in Ukraine was badly damaged," Mathernova wrote.

She added that, despite the attack, Ukrainians are still going to work in the morning. Russia will not be able to break them.

"Air defense saves lives. Endless thanks to defenders & rescuers," the ambassador emphasized.

Attack on Kyiv

On the night of June 10, Russian forces launched a strike using 315 attack drones and seven missiles, with Kyiv as their primary target.

Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy 213 Shahed drones, two KN-23 ballistic missiles, and five Iskander-K cruise missiles.

Another 64 enemy drones were downed locally by electronic warfare measures.

The Russian strike also ignited a fire in the former British visa center.
