Kyiv hit hardest as Russia launches 322 drones and missiles overnight

On the night of June 10, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 322 air targets. The main target of the attack was Kyiv, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Air Force, the enemy used:
- 315 Shahed-type attack drones and imitator drones from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia);
- 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region;
- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk region.
According to the military, the attack lasted from 8 pm (Kyiv time) on June 9 and included the massive use of Shaheds, which the enemy used to deplete Ukrainian air defense.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems of the Ukrainian Defense Forces took part in repelling the air attack.
As of 9:00 am on June 10, 284 targets had been neutralized:
- 213 Shahed drones were destroyed by firepower;
- another 64 were suppressed or lost locally due to electronic warfare;
- all 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles and 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles were destroyed.
Air strikes were recorded in 11 locations, as well as the fall of debris from downed targets in 16 different locations.
Consequences of the attack
As a result of the nighttime attack on June 10, Kyiv, as well as the Kyiv and Odesa regions, suffered the most. Civilian infrastructure was under attack.
In the capital, the fall of drones or their fragments was recorded in at least seven districts of the city. Several residents were injured in the explosions - some were hospitalized, others were treated on the spot. Fires also broke out in a business center and residential buildings.

In Odesa, Russian drones damaged a maternity hospital, a medical clinic, and cars. Two men were killed and nine people were injured.
