British instructors teaching Ukrainian recruits in shooting - Ukraine's General Staff
Ukrainian recruits are receiving basic firearms training under the guidance of British instructors in the United Kingdom. The training takes place as part of the multinational operation INTERFLEX, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During one session, service members practiced shooting from various positions, tactics for movement, and firing at different distances, as well as undergoing a marksmanship test.
The General Staff noted that, in the context of modern warfare, firearms training is essential for Ukrainian troops. It prepares the Armed Forces of Ukraine to meet any challenges on the battlefield, enhancing their effectiveness and chances of success.
"Practicing shooting from different positions and at different distances helps recruits to adapt to different combat situations, quickly react to changes in the situation, and maintain the accuracy of fire and the maximum effectiveness of hitting targets," the statement read.
Additionally, teamwork is crucial, allowing soldiers to coordinate their actions better, support one another, and perform combat tasks more effectively.
"Many thanks to the British instructors for their professional training and support! Your help is invaluable in increasing the combat readiness of our military. Together to victory!" the General Staff concluded.
As a reminder, British instructors trained Ukrainian soldiers to overcome obstacle courses about two months ago. The military trained strength and endurance, in particular.
