Billion-dollar loss for Russia: Ukrainian forces destroy S-400 Triumph air defense system near Belgorod

Fighters of Lazar's Group, together with the 429th separate brigade of Achilles unmanned systems and Joint Forces grouping, detected and neutralized the Russian S-400 Triumph surface-to-air missile system. Its cost is about one billion dollars, the National Guard of Ukraine reports.
"After joint analytical work was carried out, aerial reconnaissance of the 429th separate brigade of Achilles unmanned systems reconnoitered enemy territory and discovered a surface-to-air missile system. Information about it was passed to the strike unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lazar's group," the statement says.
After receiving information, the flight was carried out to the area where the S-400 Triumph system was located, after which precise strikes were delivered.
The National Guard of Ukraine reported that the destruction of the enemy air defense system significantly reduced the activity of Russian air defense on Kharkiv direction.

Destruction of enemy equipment
On the night of March 2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on important military facilities in Crimea and in the Luhansk region. Rare radar stations and other targets were hit.
Earlier, the Defense Forces carried out strikes on the command post and warehouses of Russian forces. Fires at facilities from Belgorod to the temporarily occupied territories were reported.
In addition, recently, Ukrainian defenders reported attacks on enemy rear targets. Among the hit objects were the oil depot and drone control center.
At the end of February, fighters of Special Operations Forces conducted an operation in the enemy rear and organized an ambush, as a result of which Russia suffered losses. In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed, in particular, the Buk system, the Uragan multiple launch rocket system, as well as the command center of the Russian army.
In addition, in January, a special purpose group of the 8th regiment of Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful special actions in the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.
Operators of Special Operations Forces detected a group of Russian servicemen who were holding positions in a destroyed supermarket and a nearby residential building. Ukrainian defenders eliminated two enemy soldiers and captured two more.
