Joe Biden's administration will ensure that Ukraine can fight in 2025The West's support for Ukrainians will not stop, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

In response, he recalled that funding for assistance to Ukraine in the war against the Russian invaders was supported in Congress not only by Democrats but also by Republicans. At the same time, assistance to Ukraine is based on global efforts, supported by more than 50 countries.

“We’re determined that Ukraine has the money, the munitions, and mobilized forces to fight effectively in 2025 or to negotiate, but from a position of strength,” the US Secretary of State added.

He assured that the United States and its allies will continue to work in the coming weeks to provide Ukraine with ammunition, mobilize forces, train the Ukrainian military, and more.

“And I’m convinced by everything I’ve heard that European support, support beyond Europe will remain strong. And I’m hopeful that the United States will also continue the efforts we’ve made,” Blinken emphasized.

US assistance to Ukraine

Earlier, Blinken assured that the Biden administration plans to spend every dollar allocated to help Ukraine before Trump's inauguration.

In particular, last week, the US announced a military aid package for Ukraine, which included weapons worth $275 million.

Such statements are related to the threat that Trump, after coming to power, may stop military and financial assistance to Ukraine in the war with Russia. But so far, his actions are impossible to predict.
