Attack on Ukraine's Dnipro: Number of casualties rises to 28, including two children

On Tuesday, September 30, Russian forces carried out a massive strike on Dnipro using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. 28 people were injured as a result of the attack, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
He stated that the number of people injured in the Dnipro strike has risen to 28, including a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. Twelve people have been hospitalized.
Lysak emphasized that all the injured are receiving the necessary medical care. He added that the rest of the residents who were at the epicenter of the attack will recover at home.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Dnipro experienced a large-scale Shahed drone attack on September 30. Several fires were reported in the city.
The Russian strike damaged a medical center and a pediatric dental clinic.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the attack, stating that rescuers, municipal, and emergency services are currently working in the city following the hit of the Russian kamikaze drones.
"A brazen attack in broad daylight, targeting civilian infrastructure. So far, more than 10 people have been reported injured. All of them are receiving the necessary medical care," the President wrote.
In addition, Russia carried out a new strike on railway infrastructure in the Chernihiv region, leaving the Nizhyn direction without power.
