Drone strike

Around 4:10 p.m. Kyiv time, authorities warned of a threat from Russian drones to Dnipro and the region. Just a few minutes later, local media reported explosions in the city.

It later became known that Dnipro had been hit by a large-scale attack with Shahed drones. Several fires were recorded in the city as a result of the strike.

Damage

As of 6:00 p.m., it is reported that the Russian attack damaged a medical center building and a pediatric dental clinic in Dnipro.

Injuries

Initially, it was reported that 12 people were injured in Dnipro following the drone attack, with one person in serious condition. However, it was later clarified that the man in serious condition could not be saved.

According to medical sources, there are now 15 injured. Two of them will recover at home, while the others are in hospitals.

Authorities’ response

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that rescue teams, municipal services, and emergency services are currently working in Dnipro following the Russian drone strike on the city.

"An utterly brazen attack — during the day, targeting civilian infrastructure. At this time, more than 10 people are reported injured. Each person is receiving the necessary medical care," he wrote.
