Attack on Crimea, August 25: dead and injured reported
According to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, reports have emmerged about an attack on the village of Perevalne near Simferopol, August 25. This is where the Russian 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet is stationed.
Locals report that as a result of the "hit," three Russians have been killed, and many are injured. The injured have been transported to the Simferopol Hospital.
Situation in Crimea
Recently, there have been increasing incidents of explosions in the occupied Crimea. In most cases, these are linked to successful strikes by our defenders against concentrations of Russian soldiers, equipment, and ammunition depots.
Just last night, August 24, explosions were heard in several areas of Crimea, and the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed an alleged attack with 42 drones.
Moreover, Ukrainian intelligence conducted an operation in Crimea yesterday. A fighting took place near the settlement of Mayak on the Tarkhankut Peninsula as part of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, involving naval assets and aircraft.
Ukrainian intelligence operatives also put up a Ukrainian flag in Crimea.
Representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine said in a comment to RBC-Ukraine that it was a raid demonstrating that the peninsula is within the reach of Ukrainian forces for further operations.
