Argentina plans summit on Ukraine with Latin American leaders, Zelenskyy's Office confirms
Argentina has agreed to host a summit on Ukraine with leaders from Latin American countries at the beginning of next year, announces Ihor Zhovkva, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President.
According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the summit with the new President of Argentina, Javier Milei, on Sunday in Buenos Aires.
"We had a substantial conversation. We discussed lots of things from Ukraine’s peace formula to bilateral cooperation," stated Zhovkva.
Zelenskyy's visit to Argentina

While on his way to Argentina, Zelenskyy managed to meet with the Prime Minister of Cape Verde. Additionally, while in Argentina, the President was able to communicate with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán ahead of the EU leaders' summit.
Cooperation with the Global South
Ukraine has recently strengthened diplomatic cooperation with countries of the Global South, including Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America, China, and India.
For instance, a significant summit took place in Saudi Arabia where issues of peace in Ukraine were discussed, excluding Russia from the invitation list. Representatives of the Ukrainian government emphasized that the meeting of diplomats and political advisors from 40 countries marked a breakthrough.
