Odesa under attack - Damage and casualties reported

Odesa once again came under attack on the night of February 4, with civilian and industrial infrastructure damaged. The shelling caused destruction to residential and public buildings, and emergency services provided assistance to those affected, according to the head of the Odesa Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

Strikes on infrastructure
Reports say that two districts of the city were damaged as a result of the nighttime attack. A two-story residential building was hit: the roof was destroyed, apartment floors were damaged, blast waves shattered windows in nearby buildings, and parked cars were also damaged. The shelling additionally affected a school and a kindergarten.
Industrial facilities
A strike was recorded on the administrative building of an industrial enterprise, where a fire broke out. Information on the scale of the fire is still being clarified, but firefighters are already known to have promptly begun efforts to contain it.
Rescue efforts and assistance to injured
State Emergency Service personnel evacuated four people from the affected area. Two women received medical assistance directly at the scene.
Aftermath response
Municipal services have begun boarding up shattered windows and restoring damaged infrastructure. Inspections of buildings are ongoing to identify additional damage and assess potential safety risks to the population.
On the morning of February 3, Russian forces struck critical infrastructure facilities in the Vinnytsia region, leaving around 50 settlements without electricity.
On the night of February 3, Russian occupiers carried out a combined attack on Kyiv, as a result of which numerous buildings in the capital were damaged, fires broke out, and the number of injured increased.
