Zelenskyy: We always add 'on our terms' to words 'ending the war'
Ukrainians will not allow Ukraine to be defeated. We always add "on our terms" to the words "ending the war," stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his video address on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory.
Zelenskyy and leaders of Western countries visited Hostomel - a village where Ukrainian soldiers clashed with enemy paratroopers two years ago.
As the president noted, today, February 24, Ukrainians have come 730 days closer to victory. Despite different stories about the beginning of the war, the ending will be the same for everyone - victory.
He added that everyone wishes for the war to end. At the same time, no one will accept Ukraine's defeat.
"That's why we always add "on our terms" to the words "ending the war." That's why "just" always accompanies the word "peace." That's why in future history, the word "independent" will always stand beside "Ukraine." We fight for this. For 730 days of our lives already. And we will win. On the best day of our lives," the president stated.
