In addition to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, three more Western leaders arrived in Kyiv on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to Reuters.

As reported by Reuters, to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, the following leaders also arrived in Kyiv:

  • Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy;
  • Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada;
  • Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium.

Reuters, citing the Italian government, adds that the Western leaders arrived in Kyiv overnight from Poland.

It is also worth noting that on February 23, the following visitors arrived in Ukraine:

The second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine

According to Serhii Nikiforov, spokesperson for the President of Ukraine, February 24 is expected to witness many visits from leaders of other countries to our nation. Additionally, a meeting involving Ukraine and the Group of Seven (G7) is planned.

February 25 will also feature something special - a press conference with participation from top speakers representing the government, military-political leadership, prime minister, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Security Service of Ukraine, Main Intelligence Directorate, Ministry of Strategic Industries, Office of the President, and the President himself. They plan to address issues concerning the future of the army, its development, the implementation of modern technologies, accession to the European Union (EU), and NATO.
