Russia launched 2,800 strike drones and 140 missiles at Ukraine in just half a month. The enemy also dropped 3,000 KAB bombs, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Telegram post.

According to the head of state, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 167 aerial targets during the night, which Russia used to attack Ukraine. In total, the occupiers launched 183 strike drones and 11 missiles of various types, including Kinzhals, ballistic, and cruise missiles.

The main enemy strike targeted the Poltava region, specifically the city of Kremenchuk.

"Over the past month, Russia has already used about 2,800 strike drones, nearly 3,000 guided aerial bombs, and 140 missiles of various types against Ukraine," the president reported.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia in the coming weeks.

"We need price caps that will stop the war. We need sanctions on Russian banks and the financial sector that will truly hurt. We also need to fight against sanction evasion schemes. The United States, the European Union, and the G7 countries can make this happen," he added.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

In recent weeks, Moscow has intensified air strikes on Ukraine. Since the beginning of summer, Russia has launched a series of massive attacks targeting Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Poltava, Odesa, and other regions of Ukraine.

Last night, Russian forces carried out a massive strike on Kremenchuk in Poltava region, using missiles and drones.

According to local media reports, this was one of the most intense attacks on the city, with residents counting at least 30 explosions. The strike hit energy and agricultural infrastructure, as well as residential buildings.
