Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on the Poltava region overnight on June 15. Most of the targets were shot down by air defense, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, on Telegram.

In the Kremenchuk community, Russian strikes hit energy and agricultural infrastructure. A private residential building, a car, and a power line were also damaged.

Fires broke out as a result of direct hits and falling debris, but they were contained by emergency service units.

In the Chutivska community, residential buildings and cars were damaged by falling drone debris.

According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties.

As a reminder, explosions were heard in Poltava region on the night of June 15, including in the city of Kremenchuk. The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration reported the work of air defense forces.

Ukraine’s Air Force had warned overnight about missile movements toward Poltava region. The area was also attacked by enemy strike drones.

It’s worth noting that Russia also attacked the city of Kremenchuk in Poltava region on the night of June 6. That drone attack caused a fire at a public dining facility and damaged nearby buildings.
