Zelenskyy strategizes defense plans: Key meetings in Zaporizhzhia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a series of important meetings in Zaporizhzhia, addressing the issue of strengthening border territories, says the country's leader in his evening address.
"I've just held two crucial meetings in Zaporizhzhia. The first one was operational, with the military, including Generals Tarnavskyi, Moskaliov, Litvinov, and everyone responsible for defense here, in Zaporizhzhia," the president announced.
According to Zelenskyy, the second meeting was essentially nationwide. He discussed the reinforcement of defense in all major directions, emphasizing the need to strengthen and accelerate the construction of structures.
"Naturally, this primarily concerns the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, and other areas in Donetsk – maximum attention. In the Kharkiv region, it's the Kupiansk direction, also the defensive line from Kupiansk to Lyman. It includes the entire Kharkiv region, as well as Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Rivne regions, and Volyn. Additionally, the south - the Kherson region," explained the head of state.
The president mentioned that he listened to reports from regional authorities, all relevant military leaders, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and General Oleksandr Pavliuk.
"We discussed the mobilization of resources, motivation, including the involvement of private businesses in this work, and financing. The priority is obvious. I am grateful to everyone working on such construction and the production of materials," emphasized Zelenskyy.
The president highlighted that they also discussed the needs on which Ukraine will collaborate with partners to strengthen defensive lines.
"Special attention is given to building shelters in schools, especially here, in Zaporizhzhia and the region, so that children can study at least in a hybrid format - both offline and online," said the head of state.
Zelenskyy's trip across Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been on a journey across Ukraine since yesterday.
He has already visited Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson. In Kherson, the president held a meeting with the military and approved goals.
Additionally, today, on November 30, the head of state was in the Kupiansk direction and interacted with the military.
Following this, the president arrived in Kharkiv, where he met with students.
