Goals aligned: Zelenskyy conducts detailed military meeting in Kherson

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his visit to the Kherson region today, November 29th, held a meeting with military officials. In particular, goals were agreed upon for the defenders, according to the evening address of the head of the Ukrainian state and the press service of the Office of the President.
The head of state states that during his visit to Kherson, he discussed the defense of the city and the region. Local authorities presented the results of shelter construction and plans that are yet to be implemented.
"I conducted a very substantive, detailed meeting with the military regarding the work specifically in the south. We discussed what is needed and agreed on the goals. We clearly see priorities in communication with our supply partners," noted Zelenskyy.
Simultaneously, the President's Office clarified that during the meeting, the president discussed the operational situation on the left bank of the Kherson region, the course of hostilities, the future plans of Ukrainian defenders, and their urgent needs.
This included discussions about additional drones and the strengthening of the air defense.
Background
It was previously reported that Ukrainian forces had managed to consolidate their positions on the left bank of the Kherson region a few weeks ago.
According to the head of the Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Center, Ants Kiviselg, the aim of such actions is to gain control over areas on the left bank of the Dnipro River and push Russian units southward.
At the Kherson Regional Military Administration, it was acknowledged that the occupiers would soon retreat from the left bank of the Kherson region.
