Zelenskyy says Ukrainian forces lack military equipment
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian army faces a shortage of military equipment and confirmed plans to hold a second peace summit next month to push for an end to the war, according to Bloomberg.
"Before winter, we need your support," Zelenskyy said in Paris after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Responding to journalists' questions during his tour of European capitals, he said that the ceasefire was not a topic of discussion with European leaders.
Earlier, during a meeting in London with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Zelenskyy presented the details of Ukraine’s victory plan. The leaders agreed to work on its implementation together with allies.
Afterward, the Ukrainian president arrived in France to meet with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
Zelenskyy presented Macron with Ukraine's victory plan and announced the Peace Summit for November.
According to him, Ukraine is not considering a ceasefire in exchange for guarantees from Western countries. Russia may spread media reports of such concessions.
