Today in Paris, representatives from Ukraine, Europe, and the US launched a new format for negotiations on how to achieve the end of the war and sustainable peace. The next meeting is expected to take place soon, states Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak during a national telethon live broadcast.

"This is not another round of negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the US, but rather an unusual format where representatives of a coalition of the determined gathered — our friends from Germany, the UK, France, and also our American partners," said the Head of the President's Office.

Yermak clarified that today in Paris, there was a whole series of meetings. First, the Ukrainian delegation met with representatives of the Coalition of the Willing, then with senior US officials, and finally, there was a joint meeting of all participants.

"There were several meetings, but the main point is that today, representatives of Europe, Ukraine, and the US together discussed how to achieve sustainable and just peace for Ukraine. They talked about ending the war, security guarantees, and everything that Ukraine needs to ensure such aggression does not happen again," Yermak noted.

According to him, Zelenskyy's mandate was to discuss how to achieve a full ceasefire, establish monitoring, exchange prisoners, and return deported children.

"These are the things that can pave the way for negotiations in a certain format, with the involvement of Americans, Europeans... negotiations on how to end the war with a just peace," said the Head of the President's Office.

He believes that the new format of negotiations "will be very effective."

"We agreed that the next meeting will take place very soon, I think even next week. And we will continue these consultations," Yermak concluded.
