Zelenskyy's hometown under Russian attack: Hotel damaged, number of injured rising

The number of victims in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the missile attack is growing, according to the State Emergency Service and the head of the city's Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul. Photos of the aftermath of the Russian attack have appeared.
According to Vilkul, as of 9:15 a.m. (Kyiv time), a 47-year-old woman was killed in the attack. She was riding a trolley bus near the site of the attack.
The number of wounded in Kryvyi Rih has increased to nine. Seven victims were hospitalized, including two women and five men. Two of them are in serious condition, one is in extremely serious condition.

The State Emergency Service clarified that the Russians struck the city twice. While the rescuers were eliminating the aftermath of the first strike, the enemy attacked Kryvyi Rih again. Rescuers were not injured, but two pieces of equipment were damaged.
According to the prosecutor's office, the attack damaged infrastructure, businesses, residential buildings, an administrative building, a medical facility, a kindergarten, a school, shops, a hotel, garages, and cars.
Online reports say that the Druzhba hotel was damaged as a result of the Russian attack.

On March 5, Russian troops also attacked a hotel in Kryvyi Rih. The attack killed five people and injured more than 30 others.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at the time of the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization - citizens of Ukraine, the United States and Britain - were staying at the hotel.
Attack against Ukraine
On the night of March 12, Russia fired three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 133 drones at Ukraine. The missiles were aimed at Odesa and Kryvyi Rih.
Air defense forces shot down 98 drones. Another 20 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
Drone hits were recorded in Kharkiv and Sumy. Russian drones also attacked Dnipro, causing fires.
On the evening of March 11, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the port in Odesa. A Barbados-flagged ship and infrastructure were damaged. Four Syrian sailors were killed in the attack. Another crew member and a port employee were injured.
