President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of Finland Alexander Stubb, according to the president's Telegram channel.

According to Zelenskyy, the two presidents exchanged available information on various aspects of Russia's position and assessed current diplomatic prospects.

"I informed Alexander about what the Ukrainian delegation is preparing for in the negotiations in America, as well as about the signals we have received from the American side," he said.

The president added that there would also be extensive work with European partners this week.

"And it is important that we all have a shared vision of the situation and an understanding that pressure on Russia as the sole cause of this war, and not on Ukraine, can genuinely work in favor of peace," Zelenskyy noted.

Peace plan negotiations

As a reminder, American and Russian officials drafted a peace plan aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. It consisted of 28 points, most of which contradict Ukraine's interests.

On November 23, talks were held in Geneva between the Ukrainian and American delegations regarding the US peace plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine.

Following the negotiations, the Financial Times reported that the document had been significantly shortened — instead of 28 points, it now contains 19.

At the same time, US President Donald Trump stated that the plan had been reduced to 22 points.

The Ukrainian delegation, after the meeting, reported a "joint understanding of the key conditions of the agreement."

Officially, the US and Ukraine stated that the final details of the document would be agreed upon at an in-person meeting between US President Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Yesterday, November 29, it became known that the Ukrainian delegation had departed for the US to continue discussions on the peace plan.

Today, November 30, the delegation — which includes Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergiy Kyslytsia — will meet in Florida with US Special Representative Steve Witkoff, Secretary of State Mark Rubio, and the US president's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Earlier, the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, had been scheduled to travel to the US for the negotiations as head of the Ukrainian delegation.

However, on the morning of November 28, NABU conducted a search at his residence as part of the Midas case related to a corruption scandal in the energy sector. By the evening, Yermak had submitted his resignation, which Zelenskyy accepted.

Zelenskyy has also approved the composition of the delegation that will participate in peace talks with the US as well as with representatives of the Russian Federation. He appointed Umerov as head of the Ukrainian delegation.
