According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has identified potential targets for its future strikes, with a specific focus on Ukrainian defense companies, stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the President, he received a briefing from Oleh Ivashchenko, head of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence. Ivashchenko provided details on Russian missile production, including facilities, quantities, distances, and supply routes for critical components from other countries.

Ukraine is already preparing countermeasures to disrupt Russia’s missile production in coordination with its partners.

"We also know that one of the key directions selected for future Russian strikes against Ukraine – military, political, and propaganda alike – involves Ukrainian companies demonstrating progress in the development of all types of missile technologies," Zelenskyy added.

According to the President, Russia considers Ukraine’s ability to produce ballistic missiles and missile interceptors a strategic threat.

"We will respond," Zelenskyy assured.

Strike on Flamingo production

Earlier, in February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a major production line for Ukrainian cruise missiles Flamingo had been destroyed as a result of a Russian missile strike.

He noted that at the time, the production line had already been relocated and later resumed operations.

In May, Ukrainian forces used Flamingo missiles to strike a Russian defense plant in Cheboksary, about 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
