Zelenskyy reports Russia's weekly drone, missile, and precision bomb attacks

Russian forces launched over 1,500 strike drones at Ukraine in a week. In addition, the invaders used more than 1,280 guided aerial bombs and 50 missiles of various types, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
"Thousands of foreign components have been found in this weaponry — over 132,000 — from various countries: Europe, America, China, Japan, and dozens more," the president said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that if Russia is not stopped, large-scale weapons production will pose a real threat to European and Pacific countries. In his view, strong sanctions are the tool that can help prevent this.
"We need to block all possible supply routes and ways to bypass sanctions, and put pressure on countries and individual companies that assist them. Our partners have this power — the power that must protect lives. We expect the 19th EU sanctions package to be truly painful and for the US to join the Europeans," he added.
Massive strike on Ukraine on September 20
On the night of September 20, Russia launched a new massive strike on Ukraine, firing 40 missiles and 579 drones.
In Dnipro, a missile armed with cluster munitions hit a high-rise building, killing one person and injuring about 30 others.
Mykolaiv, Pavlohrad, and the Chernihiv, Odesa, and Khmelnytskyi regions were also targeted. More details on the attack's consequences are available in the RBC-Ukraine report.
