Ukraine has good defense results in the Zaporizhzhia sector. But the overall situation remains tense, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says.

According to Zelenskyy, the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions remain the most difficult.

“I am grateful to every unit that destroys the Russian occupier and restrains the Russian advance. We have good defense results in the Zaporizhzhia sector,” Zelenskyy wrote.

He also spoke about the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on the actions of units in the areas of the Kursk operation.

“We continue to inflict significant losses on Russia on its territory,” the President said.

Zelenskyy said that the newly appointed Land Forces Commander Mykhailo Drapatyi and Deputy Chief of the Army Oleh Apostol had begun to fulfill their tasks.
