Occupation of Levadne in Zaporizhzhia region. Armed Forces update
The network claims that Russians have captured Levadne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces confirm the enemy's advance in that sector, states Vlad Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine
Today, on October 27, DeepState reported that the Russian army has occupied the village of Levadne in Zaporizhzhia region. It is located near the administrative border with Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian military confirms the advance of Russian troops in that area of the front.
“Indeed, the enemy has stepped up certain efforts in that section of the combat line after Vuhledar. They regrouped and conducted massive assault operations, which resulted in partial success, i.e. penetrated our defense to the depth of a platoon stronghold,” said the spokesperson.
According to him, measures to restore positions and stabilize the situation are currently underway.
The Southern Defense Forces spokesperson said he would not rush to call Levadne a settlement. He noted that it is a field station.
“It's a simple field station located in a lowland, and it's a bit difficult to defend it and conduct defensive actions there. Currently, all the commanding heights in this area of the combat zone are under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and a defensive operation is underway to restore the situation,” Voloshyn explained.
