Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that most of the points in the US peace plan can be accepted, said British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, The Telegraph reports.

Speaking to the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing, Starmer said that the peace talks on Ukraine are moving in the right direction.

He added that progress was made during the Ukraine–US negotiations in Geneva.

"Progress was made, and I welcome some of the developments that have now come forward. It was a chance to ensure that the draft plan fully reflects Ukraine's interests and lays the ground for a lasting peace," the British Prime Minister said.

He clarified that Ukraine has "proposed some constructive changes," which were supported by national security advisors from European countries.

"I do think we are moving in a positive direction, and indications today that in large part the majority of the text, Volodymyr (Zelenskyy - ed.) is indicating, can be accepted," Starmer emphasized.

US peace plan

Following talks between Ukrainian and American officials in Geneva, reports emerged that the US peace plan has been revised.

According to the Financial Times, the plan now consists of 19 points instead of the previous 28.

An informed source told RBC-Ukraine that the revised plan no longer includes limits on the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces or amnesty for war criminals.

At the same time, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said that the most sensitive issues will be discussed directly by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump.

The head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, stated that Zelenskyy is ready to meet with Trump as early as November 27.
