Zelenskyy on terrorist attack near Moscow and Putin's accusations
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reacted sharply to attempts by the Russian side, in particular dictator Vladimir Putin, to shift responsibility for yesterday's terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall shopping center to Ukraine.
"What happened yesterday in Moscow, obviously, Putin and other scum are just trying to blame it on someone else," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He noted that Kremlin propagandists and the Russian leadership "always have the same methods."
"This has already happened. There have been bombed houses, shootings, and explosions. And they always blame others," the president said.
Zelenskyy added that the Russian occupiers came to the territory of our country, where they burned cities, tortured and raped people, and they are trying to blame Ukraine.
"Yesterday, all this happened, and this lowlife Putin, instead of taking care of his Russian citizens, addressing them, was silent for a day - he was thinking about how to bring it to Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
He added that all this was "absolutely predictable."
"The hundreds of thousands of Russians who are now killing on Ukrainian land would definitely be enough to stop any terrorists. And if Russians are ready to die in silence in "crocuses" and not ask any questions of their special services, then Putin will try to turn more than one such situation in favor of his personal power. Terrorists must always lose, and I thank each and every one of you who truly defend life!" Zelenskyy emphasizes.
The President also expressed gratitude to all the defenders who are fighting against terror and defending Ukraine.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation claims that the attackers allegedly had contacts in Ukraine and were about to cross the border.
In a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, Defense Intelligence representative Andrii Yusov denies the claims of the Federal Security Service and emphasizes that the Russian regime wants to bring the "Ukrainian trail" to light.
