Last night, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing 117 drones, most of which were Shaheds. Several regions were hit by the strikes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.

Russia carried out another massive strike on Ukraine last night, releasing 117 drones, the majority of which were Shahed UAVs. Ukrainian defenders managed to repel a significant portion of the attacks, but some regions could not avoid the strikes.

The regions affected by the Russian attack included Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Cherkasy, as well as Kryvyi Rih, where businesses and civilian infrastructure were damaged.

In Okhtyrka, Sumy region, houses and stores were destroyed, and the shelling also affected Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine needs assistance and that the world must exert strong pressure on Russia.

"To carry out such massive strikes after negotiations about a ceasefire - this clearly shows the world that Moscow is not ready for genuine peace. Since March 11, there has been an American proposal for complete silence, for a full cessation of strikes. And literally every night, Russia repeats its attacks in response to the peaceful proposal from partners," Zelenskyy said.

Attack on Ukraine

Russia attacked Cherkasy region with drones on the night of March 26. Most of the drones were aimed at Cherkasy, causing damage.

In addition to launching 117 drones on the night of March 26, Russia attacked from four directions.

Furthermore, late Tuesday evening, Russian invaders launched a massive Shahed strike on Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the attack, there was significant destruction in the city.
