Russia strikes Cherkasy and region with drones: Infrastructure facility damaged

Russia attacked the Cherkasy region with drones on the night of March 26. Most of the drones were aimed at Cherkasy, and there are damages, according to Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.
“Since nightfall, our Cherkasy region has been under Russian fire. Russia sent most of the attack drones to the regional center,” he said.
According to him, there were no casualties, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 12 drones.
Consequences of Russian attack on Cherkasy and region
As a result of the Russian attack, an infrastructure facility was damaged, and the fire was extinguished.
"In addition, the warehouse of a private enterprise was damaged by the wreckage of the downed Russian drone. The inspection of the area is ongoing," noted Taburets.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
Russian troops began attacking Ukraine with drones in the evening of March 25. Air alerts were declared in many regions, and air defense forces were deployed.
On the outskirts of Kyiv, a Russian drone was spotted leaving the airspace of the Kyiv region. Therefore, no air alert was raised in the capital. In addition, there were no casualties or damage in Kyiv.
On the night of March 26, Russia launched 117 drones into Ukraine, attacking from 4 directions.
