Zelenskyy on night strikes: Russia fighting against civilians, more air defense needed
Russian terrorists continue to wage war against civilians. Ukraine must bolster its air defense, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Russia continues to fight against civilians. Night Shaheds attack: Kharkiv, Odesa, cities of the Sumy region. One of the enemy drones hit a residential building in Odesa. 18 apartments destroyed," the president wrote.
According to the country's leader, two fatalities are currently known in Odesa. Among the eight injured is a child.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing around the clock, with all services on-site. Necessary assistance is being provided to the injured.
"We need more air defense systems (ADS) from partners. We need to strengthen the Ukrainian air shield to add protection for our people against Russian terror. More ADS systems, more missiles for ADS - this is what saves lives," Zelenskyy added.
