Today, on January 12, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, who arrived in Kyiv, according to the head of the Ukrainian state on Telegram.

"Today, we stand side by side as friends and allies. This is a signal to the world: Ukraine is not alone," the president wrote.

He also shared a video of the meeting with the British Prime Minister.

Sunak's visit to Kyiv

It is worth noting that today, on January 12, the Prime Minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak, visited Kyiv.

He emphasized that the purpose of his visit was to show that support for Ukraine would not weaken. The Prime Minister also assured that Britain would stand with the Ukrainians as long as necessary.

It is expected that during his visit, the Prime Minister will announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

Sunak also spoke about the intention to sign a "historic agreement" on security between Great Britain and Ukraine.
