Zelenskyy is confident that Ukraine will receive 'support infrastructure' of Western armies

Western armies can provide "support" to Ukraine at the moment the war ends or even after the ceasefire with Russia begins, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with the heads of local communities in Chernihiv region.
The head of state emphasized the importance of Ukraine receiving security guarantees comparable to NATO membership until the country becomes part of the Alliance. This involves the contingent and efforts of partners that Ukraine can "genuinely rely on."
Zelenskyy reminded that several countries have expressed readiness to strengthen Ukraine.
"There have been several meetings, and we are talking about the fleet, aviation, and even the most difficult issue today – the land component of other partners on our soil. Still, I am confident we will have some form of support infrastructure from Western armies when the war ends, or maybe even in the midst of it. We are addressing this (issue - ed.)," the president added.
He noted that such a "support infrastructure" after a ceasefire would provide confidence that everything is moving toward a peace agreement and a fair peace.
"We will still come to a just peace. We have many different documents to work with, but it’s important that we are strong at the negotiation table," Zelenskyy emphasized.
Deployment of contingents to Ukraine
The UK and France have organized the so-called Coalition of the Willing. It includes countries that could send their troops to Ukraine, as well as those that can support such a mission.
So far, there are no specific agreements on sending ground troops to Ukraine.
The next meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place on April 10 at NATO's headquarters in Brussels.
