President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The meeting focused on the use of drones and missiles on the front line, stated Zelenskyy in his evening address.

According to the President, the key issues at the Staff meeting were the missile program and drones. He heard reports both on the use of drones and on the accuracy and the results of strikes on the front line.

"I want to thank all our domestic manufacturers who are working specifically to ensure that Ukraine maintains technological leadership. We are also working to protect our infrastructure so that there are opportunities for long-term defense, and these are systemic decisions with personal responsibility for implementation," Zelenskyy said.

The President also heard reports today from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation in the Kursk and Donetsk directions, where the fiercest battles are currently taking place.

Zelenskyy recognized several regiments and brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Ukraine has defended its independence, Ukraine defends its right every day – the right to live – and we will definitely ensure security for Ukraine, exactly the kind of security that is needed," Zelenskyy stated.

Weapons production in Ukraine

Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has significantly increased its weapons production. Ukrainian companies are developing and manufacturing new drones, including naval drones and long-range strike drones.

In particular, the government has reported that Ukraine plans to produce 3,000 missiles and 30,000 long-range drones this year.

Earlier, President Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian missiles Palianytsia, Peklo, and Ruta are already in use and have shown success. According to him, Ukrainian ballistic missiles are still in preparation.
