Speaking to journalists, Zelenskyy said negotiations should be organized before the cold season begins.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine does not want to go through the hardships of last winter again. At the same time, he stressed that the coming winter period will not be easy for Russia either.
"It was a terrible winter for us. But you have to understand that we do not want to go through the same winter again. Of course. And Russia should know that we had a terrible winter, and it will not be easy for them either. So that is my proposal. Therefore, I think my proposal for dialogue is clear," the President said.
Meanwhile, RBC-Ukraine previously reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the first details of his meeting with US President Donald Trump. According to the Ukrainian leader, the sides discussed a number of important issues related to the war and support for Ukraine.
Donald Trump also commented on the possibility of reaching an agreement with Russia. He said that Moscow must take a corresponding step.
