Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, according to Zelenskyy's statement.

The parties emphasized the importance of further long-term macroeconomic support for Ukraine. They agreed on future joint steps in regional and global formats.

Additionally, the politicians discussed maintaining unity in Europe and the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Zelenskyy thanked Denmark for organizing the first meeting of advisors to discuss the Peace Formula in Copenhagen and for the country's readiness to send its representative to the next meeting in Malta.

He also expressed gratitude for the recent visit of Denmark's Minister of Defense, Troels Lund Poulsen, to Ukraine and the comprehensive and timely assistance provided by Denmark, including its patronage of Mykolaiv.

Denmark's support for Ukraine

Denmark has been assisting Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. Recently, Denmark and Czechia announced that they would supply Ukraine with armored personnel carriers, combat tanks, heavy weaponry, and other equipment at the expense of the Danish government.

Moreover, Denmark has decided to allocate over 14 million dollars for the purchase of ammunition for Ukraine. Additionally, Denmark is opening its first reconstruction office in Mykolaiv to facilitate close dialogue with regional and local authorities.
