Ukrainian forces struck targets in the Moscow region and beyond. Logistics facilities, an oil depot, and Russian vessels in the Black Sea were hit, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Targets hit in the Moscow region

Ukrainian forces struck logistics facilities and an oil depot in the Moscow region. The targets were located more than 400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

The operation involved:

  • The Unmanned Systems Forces;

  • Intelligence;

  • The Missile Forces and Artillery;

  • The Special Operations Forces.

Strikes in the Black Sea

In addition to ground targets, Ukrainian forces attacked Russian vessels in the Black Sea. Two shadow fleet tankers and four cargo ships were hit.

The president stressed that Ukraine continues to respond to Russian attacks on its cities and communities.

"This war must be brought to an end, and that is only possible by increasing the pressure on the sole cause of this war – Russia," Zelenskyy said.

The previous day, drones carried out a large-scale attack on Moscow and the surrounding region, causing a fire. Residents reported a series of explosions in different areas.

Meanwhile, a wave of explosions also swept across Crimea, where one of the key facilities caught fire. The attack affected several strategic locations on the peninsula.
